MONICA LEWIS

FOUNDER & CEO

Monica Lewis is a leading expert in the industry of etiquette and protocol. She is also an avid believer that social presentation and behaviors are essential to be successful in today’s society. Seeking to promote awareness of this fact, Monica is a passionate instructor who is dedicated to providing quality and professional training to her clients. With more than ten years of experience, Mrs. Lewis is renowned for her vibrant personality and highly interactive presentation skills.

She’s the author of “Say Yes to Manners” (dual language English/Spanish), “Practice Good Manners” Workbook and co-author of the “Breaking BAD in Business” series. As an author, motivational speaker, wife, and mother, Monica is committed to bringing a positive change everywhere she goes. She is actively involved in her church, community organizations, and schools. She also devotes many hours to mentoring teenage girls and boys across the country.

She has over 20 years of experience in business leadership, working with Fortune 500 companies like AIG, American General Life, American General Securities, VALIC, and Sun America. Mrs. Lewis has also is a contributor, and protocol advisor featured on FOX26 Houston, KPRC-Houston Life, KBXX 97.9FM.  In 2009 she established The Monica Lewis School of Etiquette. Since that time students, parents, professionals, business leaders, non-profit/community leaders, and corporations frequently request Mrs. Lewis’ insight about business development, customer services, sales training, protocol, and business etiquette. Her practical, honest, and engaging presentation style has made her a trusted consultant to companies like Comcast, Service First Automotive, AIG Financial Network, Alief ISD, Aldine ISD, Klein ISD, Spring ISD, Fort Bend ISD, Harris County Department of Education, The Church of God in Christ, University of Houston, City of Houston, The Woodlands Country Club, The Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce, National Sales Network, The Society of Women Engineers, and many others.

Monica’s Family Life

Life is a balancing act, and that is clearly evident if you spend time with Monica and her five children.  She and Darian not only rule their etiquette empire but they are the parents of five: Darian Jr, Dillon, Mark, Dexter, and Megan.  Darian and Monica have been married since 2003, and they reside in Spring, TX.

Darian is best described as a “GIFT” to all those that know him. In fact, in Greek the name Darian means gift.

He is a native Houstonian and proud graduate of Westbury High School. After high school, Darian earned a B.A. in Business Administration/ Marketing from the University of Houston; and earned an MBA from Colorado Techincal University.
Darian has the unique ability to transition seamlessly from the boardroom to the dining room to the stage and the podium or pulpit. He’s a highly sought-after presenter and instructor.

His infectious laugh, charisma, and unique ability to command an audience has allowed him to share his thoughts, experiences, and wisdom with audiences across the country.

He has over 20 years of experience in business leadership, working with Fortune 500 companies like Enterprise, Cardtronics, AIG, American General Life, VALIC, and Sun America.

In January 2016 Darian became the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operations Officer for the Monica Lewis School of Etiquette bringing his blend of innovative teaching techniques, vision, and strategy. Since joining forces with his wife Lady Monica Lewis, President & CEO, they have forged a burgeoning etiquette empire.

Students, Professionals, Business Owners, Ministry Leaders, and Corporations frequently request Mr. Lewis’ insight regarding business development, protocol, marketing, branding, and business etiquette. And his practical, honest, and engaging presentation style has made him a trusted consultant to companies like Comcast, Service First Automotive, AIG Financial Network, Alief ISD, Koinonia Ecumenical Council of Churches, and the Elliott Chandler Foundation.

Skilled in helping individuals to create an image for success with specialized attention given to developing personal and/ or corporate brand; enhancing style of dress and accentuating grooming details.

Coach young adults in key areas of life skills development such as choosing place of residency, budgeting, balancing nutrition and more to ensure overall success.
